Q: Will there be dinner for program attendees?
A: No dinner will be served for the main program. Guests are asked to eat a meal before they arrive. While there will be snacks, beverages, and dessert, there will be no formal dinner.
Q:What is the invitation-only, pre-event reception and who can attend?
A: The pre-event Golden Lantern Honorees & Sponsor reception will be open to sponsors and the evening’s honorees only. Guests for this event are asked to arrive at 6pm. The reception will be hosted in the museum’s upstairs Atomic Lounge. Due to capacity, we are able to invite only event sponsors (just four per table) and the evening’s honorees. Q: I have been invited to the Golden Lantern Honorees & Sponsor Reception. What can I expect?
A: If you have been invited to attend the pre-event reception, please arrive at 6pm. Guests will be directed to the World of Speed’s upstairs Atomic Lounge where they will enjoy a special presentation, substantial hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, a signature cocktail, and the opportunity to meet the evening’s keynote speaker, Sonia Manzano.
Q: What time should I arrive for the Children's Center Honors program?
A: Doors open at 6:45pm. Guests are invited to enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres and tour the museum before being seated at their tables by 7:30pm.
Q: Where should I park?
A: There is ample parking at the World of Speed. Please follow signage to adjacent overflow lots on the south side of the museum if the main parking lot is full.
Q: What attire is requested?
A: We request attire be business casual.
Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?
A: We request all guests to have pre-purchased tickets. However, limited seats will be available at the door. Please keep in mind we have limited assigned seating and thus, guests who buy tickets at the door may not be seated together.
