How much does it cost to attend this event? This event is free! However, guests can choose to financially support Children’s Center by participating in our online auction by bidding on the amazing auction packages we have, or making a gift online before, during, or after the livestream event. 

Do I need a ticket to attend this event? Yes! Just like an in-person event, we are asking all guests to RSVP so you can stay informed with event information. RSVP by selecting a Virtual Ticket.

How does the online auction work?  The entire auction is online this year. The online auction will open at 12 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021, and will close on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. When the auction begins, you will be able to view each auction package and bid as often and as much as you'd like. If you don't want to bid on items but still want to support Children’s Center, you will also be able to make donations before and during the event through the online auction website. 

What will the program be like during the virtual event? The livestream program will be a celebration of our community and it will be an opportunity for you to support Children’s Center. We will celebrate our sponsors, hear from featuring speakers and share a powerful message of our impact. Auctioneer Johnna Wells will present some great auction packages for you to bid on and a special appeal you can donate to during and after the livestream.

Will catering be available this year? Yes, food and wine delivered to your home. The deadline to order food has passed

How do I participate in the virtual event? When you RSVP we know that you will join us for the virtual event. We’ll invite you to register as a bidder and keep you informed on exciting event details.

How do I watch the livestream event? The week of the event, we will post the link to the livestream here. We recommend you tune in with 2 devices (computer/tablet and mobile phone) or open 2 tabs on your computer. This will allow you to watch the livestream and bid and give in the mobile bidding platform during the event.

How can I purchase an auction item or donate to Children’s Center?

3.    Join us for the livestream event on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. to give a donation during the livestream broadcast.

If I win an online auction package, how do I pick-up that package? You will be notified by email if you win an auction package in the online auction. Packages can be delivered to homes within the greater Portland area or arranged for pick up at Children’s Center. Shipment can be arranged for any winning bidders located outside of the greater Portland metro area with exception of packages containing alcohol. The winning bidder is responsible for shipping costs of physical items.
